Scalehorde (スケイルホード, Sukeiruhōdo) are a race in the Suikoden series. They only appear in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki.
Overview
Scalehorde are a reptilian demi-human race whose entire bodies are covered with tough scales that are much harder than metal. Because of this, most scalehorde do not need to wear armor at all. They are generally larger in stature than humans, and many of them have achieved great results on the battlefield. They are also noted for being especially susceptible to extreme cold.
They are also an artificial race, created when the world was nearly destroyed by the original attack of the Teras Pharma. Designed for battle, they are able to instinctively notice signs of the Teras Pharma.
