Grayridge (グレイリッジ, Gureirijji) is a town in Suikoden Tierkreis. It is a former mining town, now financially and culturally dependent on the Order of the One True Way.
Information
Grayridge is a town that hosts a chapter of the Order of the One True Way and is the nearest town to Citro Village. In the past, Grayridge was a flourishing town due to its highly productive mines, but roughly 50 years ago production began to fall and the town has fallen into a steep slump ever since.
The investment that the Order put into Grayridge was very significant. Everything down to the maintenance of roads and buildings is financed by the Order, engendering a great sense of loyalty to the group. Even when Secretary Macoute's mass embezzling was uncovered, this did little to shake the resident's faith in the Order as a whole.
As the war between the Order and the Company grew more contested, Grayridge would become a front-line base for the Order's army. However, they would eventually be withdrawn in order to prioritize the defense of Fort Arc. These events kickstarted the process of Grayridge unburdening itself of the Order's influence.
Following the war, Gilliam would become the Mayor of Grayridge and proceed with new reconstruction efforts for the town.
