Mori Icchō (Japanese: 森 一丁, born April 6)[1][2] is a Japanese voice actor, narrator, radio personality, and MC. He is currently affiliated with Aoni Production, having transitioned from Sigma Seven in mid-2022.[3]

Mori is the co-host of Suikoden Live alongside Tsukishiro Hika.

Biography

Mori is particularly known for his magnetic voice, which adapts smoothly across genres—from news programs to lively variety shows. His long-running narration roles include live commentary for broadcasts such as NTV’s 24-Hour Television: Love Saves the Eart, ZIP!, Weekend Sports, and Fuji TV’s Direct Live Goody!. He also voices segments on programs like Monday Football R, TBS’s Enta no Mikata!, TV-Asahi’s Sukuizu!, as well as TV Tokyo’s Hit’s Secret! World Funny CM Grand Prix, among many others.[1][3]

In addition to television, Mori has been active in radio, contributing to programs like OH! HAPPY MORNING, LIVE80, and others.[3]

He also hosts and MCs large-scale events spanning sports, games, and anime—such as Next Generation World Hobby Fair, Tokyo Game Show, Japan Amusement Expo, AnimeJapan, and national sports competitions, including the National Games for Persons with Disabilities.[3]

Outside of his voice-related work, Mori holds qualifications such as Disaster Prevention Specialist, SCUBA diver, Boat Operator (Class 2), and motorcycle license. He speaks in Hakata dialect, reflecting his Fukuoka roots. He also enjoys fishing, games, and is known for his warm rapport with audiences and his ability to adapt to high-tempo live broadcasts.[1][3]
