Beaga (ビーアーガ, Bīāga) is a supporting character in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. Beaga is a hunter of the featherfolk.

History

But I... I killed and killed and killed without ever eating.

—  Beaga

Beaga was a featherfolk archer, widely known for his skill with the bow, able to fell a target with a single arrow. He fought alongside Thorwad Albreck in the HIY 100 Teras Pharma conflict. Afterwards, he became a recluse, living in hiding in West Mt. Hioni.

His self-imposed isolation was due to his regretting all the killing he undertook during the war. Possessed with a strong belief that a hunter should only take a life in order to eat, he felt great guilt for the beasts he felled even as he accepted it as necessary.

Heidrake informed Beaga of the company and directed them towards him. Upon meeting, Luseri would tell him that his hermitage would lead to his skills being lost over the next 100 years. Because of this, he agreed to pass on his skills, provided that the group promised not to kill what they can't eat. Later, he would help the group further by planting Era Trees at Tourmarie and Sidas Forest.

Towards the end of the war, he reunited with his comrades to fight the Teras Pharma beneath the Yggdrasilian Palace. He returned to his isolation on Mt. Hioni following this final battle, his actions after that unknown.
