Peck (ペック, Pekku), known as Assassin (暗器使い, Kuraki Tsukai) in Suikoden IV, is a supporting character from Suikoden Tactics and an antagonist in Suikoden IV. Peck is a young pirate devoted to Brandeau.

Biography

Peck was a young pirate of the Pirate's Nest who adored Brandeau deeply. He respected Brandeau enough that he would put himself in harm's way to impress the elder pirate without concern for his own safety.

This loyalty would cost Peck dearly when he would fight alongside Brandeau during their battle with Steele. He would be caught in the explosion of Steele's Evil Eye, transformed into something half-human and half-fishman. Dismayed by his disfigurement, he would volunteer to accompany Brandeau in his self-imposed exile, to keep him from being lonely.

As part of Brandeau's pirate band, he would serve as an assassin, using his knife throwing skills to eliminate targets. He would be killed by Brandeau when he used the Rune of Punishment following his own defeat in battle. Caught in the range of the rune, Peck would be disintegrated, seemingly without a care from the man he worshipped.
