This template is used to add a character infobox to a page. To add this template to an article copy and paste the code below and then fill in the information for each section.

|name = The characters English name or closest localisation.
|japanese_name= The characters name in Japanese. This is usually written in Katakana.
|romaji_name = The characters Japanese name once converted to Romaji
|star = The star a character is listed as, if they are one of the 108 Stars of Destiny.
|image = The name of the image, followed by its file type, such as Image.png
|caption = The name of the artist who drew the image used in this infobox.
|gender = The gender of the character.
|race = The species of the character.
|height = The characters listed height. Only Suikoden III and IV characters have official heights given.
|birth_date = The year of birth for the character, according to the Solar Year Calender. Only the number is necessary.
|age = The characters age(s) in each of the games they appear in.
|from = The town/region/nation the character is listed as being from.
|family = The characters relatives, listed in alphabetical order with the nature of their relationship in parenthesis after each name.
|va = The voice actor for the character, with the media form they are voiced in parenthesis.
