Antique

Antiques (骨董品, Kotsutōhin) are a recurring item class in the Suikoden series. They are valuable items whose identities are a mystery until examined by an appraiser.

Information

Antiques are works of art, such as vases, paintings and sculptures. As they cannot be definitively identified by an amateur, they are usually referred to as a "?" item, suffixed by its type, in the player's inventory when first found. Their actual identity and value remain a mystery until examined by an appraiser.

While their main use is to earn potch via their resale, antiques can also be used to decorate the player's castle or baths.
