Haruto (ハルト, Haruto) is a supporting character in Suikoden IV. Haruto is the head navigator of the Headquarters Ship.

Biography

Umm... Actually, I've been told to take the helm of this ship. But it hurts my arm, so... —  Haruto

Haruto was a member of the original crew who worked on the Headquarters Ship when it left the Kingdom of Obel. He was technically in charge of steering the ship but he seemed to leave this duty to his subordinates, spending most of his time in the ship's library working on charts.

Despite this, he claimed he was a hard worker and only refrained from steering directly due to a bad arm. He also had to deal with a possessive Tanya who was very territorial about her library space. Haruto claimed he had all his charts memorised so there was never any worry about the ship going off course.

Following the Island Liberation War, Haruto would begin work on a brand new ship, assisting Tov in his designs.
