Biography

That's right!!!!!! I'm the great hero, Lord Riou!!!!!

—  Hoi

Hoi is a thief from Kanakan. During the Dunan Unification War, Hoi began to impersonate the leader of the New State Army in order to take advantage of his name. Hoi pulled this trick several times, including in South Window City, Two River City, and Radat Town, using the scheme to bilk on bills without paying.

The real leader of the New State Army, who happened to be in Radat, was spotted by the crowd as they confronted Hoi and was mistaken for another lookalike. Both men would be beaten up by the crowd and Hoi, believing his partner to be another lookalike, offered to join forces, but when the two returned to North Window, Hoi realized his mistake.

Hoi remained in the New State Army for the duration of the war. Following the conflict, Hoi briefly decided to retire from thievery, but soon realized that this was a mistake and quickly returned to his life of petty theft.
