The Gulhorse (ガルホース, Garuhōsu) are a creature from the original Suikoden.
Information
Gulhorses were the riding mount of Teo McDohl's Armored Cavalry. They were dinosaur-like creatures that walked on their two hind legs, using their thick tails for balance. Their travelling speed is comparable to that of a horse and they also possess considerable strength and jumping ability. They are very powerful, able to deal crushing blows with their body.
However, gulhorses are notoriously difficult to handle and suffer from a lack of stamina. This led them to being ignored as a combat animal for a long time before Teo McDohl's Armored Cavalry.
