Fairouz Ai (ファイルーズあい, born July 6, 1993), full name Kadota Fairouz Ai (門田ファイルーズあい), is a Japanese voice actor and performer. She voices Shirin in Suikoden STAR LEAP and is most known for her roles as Jolyne Cujoh in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Power in Chainsaw Man.
Biography
Fairouz Ai was born in Tokyo in 1993, spending part of her childhood attending elementary school in Cairo, Egypt, before returning to Japan. During her junior high school years, she became deeply interested in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, even holding Skype reading sessions of the manga with friends. This passion inspired her to pursue a career in voice acting, despite her parents’ initial reservations.
She made her professional debut in 2019 as Hibiki Sakura in How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?, where she also sang the opening theme Onegai Muscle. Her performance quickly attracted attention, and in 2020 she received the Best New Actress Award at the 14th Seiyu Awards.
Fairouz went on to voice Manatsu Natsuumi, the protagonist of Tropical-Rouge! Precure in 2021, before achieving international recognition as Jolyne Cujoh in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean, the franchise’s first female JoJo. In 2022, she took on another prominent role as Power in Chainsaw Man, further cementing her reputation as one of the leading young talents in the anime industry.
Originally affiliated with Pro-Fit, she transferred to Raccoon Dog in 2022 following the closure of her first agency. At the end of 2024, Fairouz announced a temporary reduction in her workload due to PTSD, but she returned to full activity in April 2025 and subsequently joined Mausu Promotion.
