Bertha (ベルタ, Beruta) is a supporting character in Gensosuikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. She is a kenpo master, and the cousin of Sorab.
Biography
In the year 200, Bertha had joined the forces gathered at Dios Fortress to fight the Terrus Firma as a kenpo artist. Originally from Martilion, she had trained since she was young for the upcoming battle. She also held some form of grudge against Ionia, presumably due to Martilion's push for independence.
After a disastrous first battle, she would help her cousin, Sorab, recuperate and with the help of the hero, reignited his musical muse. After this, she would go on a journey to re-train her body and teach her signature skills to several members of the hero's group, passing them through the centuries.
Bertha would express regret at not learning to wield a sword or spear after discovering that her physical attacks would have limited effect on the beast. Still, despite her small physique, she was an excellent physical combatant.
After the final fall of the Terrus Firma and the defeat of Renefarious, she would join Warrg's westward immigration party, active in running reconnaissance as a scout.
