Following the [[Hero (Suikoden V)|Prince]]'s abandonment of the [[Barows Faction]] she was recruited, along with her brother and [[Roy]], by [[Euram Barows]] to help sully the Prince's name by committing banditry in [[Sable]] in his name. While Roy was disguised as the Prince, Faylen was also supposed to be disguised as [[Lyon]] but that plan was cancelled when Roy laughed at the costume she was supposed to wear.

Although she cared for her brother, Faylen sometimes remarked that Faylon did not act as a big brother should and considered him to be pretty stupid.
