Wyvern (ワイバーン, Waibān) is an enemy which appears in Suikoden.
Wyvern are among the stronger enemies you'll encounter at Seek Valley. With all round high stats as well as a breath attack that hits all party members, Wyvern can do significant damage to an unprepared party.
Etymology
The wyvern is an offshoot of the dragon. Its main distinguishing feature when compared to the dragon is that wyvern have no arms or forward legs. Depending on the myth, wyverns can breathe fire and/or possess a venomous bite. They frequently appear in heraldry.
