The Great Forest covers much of the ~~region~~ of [[Gouran]]. Entering the forest brings you to the [[Forest of Illusion]] due to the barrier magic of the [[Six Wise Men of the Forest]] who lived there in ancient times. Because of this barrier, non-[[human]] races, such as [[Dwarf|dwarves]] and [[Elf|elves]], are not well known in the area.

Once the [[Scarlet Moon Empire]] rose to power in the [[Toran (region)|Toran area]], the Empire inherited the [[Great Contract]]. So as to avoid breaking its terms, the government never revealed the existence of the Great Forest to other regions of the Empire.
