Although he joked around a lot, Mekumeku is also a very diligent worker and oftentimes the heart of the Flying Squirrel Corps. During the [[Dunan Unification War]], he decided to join the [[New State Army]] after noticing its leader wandering around the area outside [[Greenhill City]].
