| Those prune-faced mules on the council can shove it. I work twice as hard as the boys, and get thrice as much done! Well, that's fine. I'll put in four or five times the hours, if that's what it takes to shut their stupid, wrinkled old mouths!
— Perrielle Grum
Perrielle is a young woman of the Grum family, descended from a collateral branch of one of the League of Nations' noble houses. She's described as highly perceptive, a go-getter, and full of fire.
Unlike her more demure counterparts in the nobility, Perrielle is known for her sharp tongue and this often draws criticism. Her lack of demureness is often cited as her one major flaw. Because of this, despite her capabilities, others seem to rarely notice how hard working and intelligent she truly is.
Perrielle's father, whom she loved dearly, died when she was little. She came to realize that for all the presents he'd showered her with, he'd never offered her a word of praise. Now, she is driven by this one thing she can never have: her father's approval.
