Genso Suikoden IV Prelude (幻想水滸伝IV Prelude, Gensōsuikoden IV Prelude) is a book published by Konami in 2004. It is a reference and promotional book for Suikoden IV.
Information
The book contains information on the key characters and setting for the upcoming Suikoden IV. It also contains celebratory artwork for a variety of different artists, along with their thoughts on the series and their congratulations for the impeding release of the new game.
Prelude also contains three different interviews; one with game leads Kawano Junko and Noritada Matsukawa, another with the sound team of Kimura Masahiko, Miura Norikazu, and Adachi Tatsumi, and one with coba, who provided the game with its opening movie track, La Mer.
The book also came with a Prelude CD, containing samples of eight tracks from the final game.
