History

Hmm, there's a limit to how much training I can do by myself. I wonder where Master is?

—  Wakaba

Wakaba is a young martial artist training in Long Chan-Chan's dragon-style martial arts. Wakaba is an unsuspecting young woman with an innocent, pure-hearted personality. She's also highly curious and ready to accept any challenge. Her enthusiasm was contagious, fueling Long Chan-Chan's enthusiasm in turn.

Wakaba's fascination with martial arts began at her local dojo, where she started her training, simply because it was close by. Determined to become a strong master of the martial arts like her master, Wakaba pushed herself to the limit with a demanding training regimen. All her training, combined with her own natural talent and the White Tiger Rune she bears, saw her strength increase slowly but surely. One day, her master declared that she needed to seek out stronger opponents and left her.

Eventually discovering that he was in Tinto Principality, Wakaba began to make her way there. However, while travelling through the Greenhill Forest, she collapsed due to fatigue from her constant training. Nash Latkje would discover her and help take her out of the forest on horseback. Her naivety and curiosity saw her intensely interested and easily distracted by the people they would encounter as they traversed the forest.

From there, Wakaba would end up in the Forest Village where she encountered the leader of the New State Army. Impressed by the young man's strength, she joined the force, eventually reuniting with Long Chan-Chan in Crom Village and fighting in the army's infantry regiments.

Following the war, Wakaba continued to train with her master, with the goal of being able to beat a bear with her bare hands.
