Taggart (ダカート, Dakāto) is a supporting character in Suikoden. Taggart is the servant of Warren who notified the Toran Liberation Army of his master's capture.

History

Hi there.

—  Taggart

Taggart is a servant of Warren, serving his master faithfully at his home. He held a very slender look about him, appearing almost gaunt. Although he held a deep loyalty to Warren, he was considered somewhat unreliable in his duties. Despite this, he would do his utmost to follow any orders given.

Overly literal Taggart.

During the Gate Rune War, when Warren was captured by Kasim Hazil, Warren gave his servant orders to relay what had happened to the leader of the Toran Liberation Army. This led to him refusing to speak when he spotted at Toran Castle, even with other officers arguing what to do with the intruder, until McDohl himself arrived.

Thanks to Taggart, the Liberation Army could mount a rescue effort, freeing Warren and Viktor from Moravia. When Warren joined the Toran Liberation Army, Taggart followed his master. Taggart served in the Liberation Army for the duration of the war and after its conclusion, he continued to serve Warren as a trusted assistant.
