Pannu Yakuta Castle (パンヌ・ヤクタ城 Pannu Yakuta Jō) is a location in Suikoden. It was the headquarters of the Imperial Army stationed in the Great Forest.
Information
Pannu Yakuta Castle was the seat of the general in charge of administrating the Great Forest region. During the War of Succession, it served as a base for Barbarosa's forces, who were driven here early in the war. According to one report, the castle's foundations were built on ancient Sindar ruins.
During the Gate Rune War, the castle was under the rule of Great General Kwanda Rosman. Following the destruction of Lukie Ende Towayo, the Toran Liberation Army amassed enough troops to attack the castle in the Battle at Pannu Yakuta Castle.
Following the Liberation Army victory, the castle was infiltrated by the leader and his entourage. There, they defeated a Dragon before Kwanda Rosman was defeated in a one-on-one duel.

Pannu Yakuta Castle's theme in Suikoden is the song "Gate", which is song 16 on disc 2 of the Genso Suikoden Original Game Soundtrack.
Pannu Yakuta shares "Gate" as its theme with most "fortress"-style locations throughout the game, including the Fortress of Kwaba, Moravia, the Fortress of Garan, the Fortress of Lorimar, the Northern Checkpoint, and the Floating Fortress of Shasarazade.
