Mt. Plegate (プレゲート山, Puregēto Yama) is a location in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. It is a volcanic peak located west of the Riolta Plains.
Information
Located west of the Riolta Plains, Mt. Plegato was an active volcano, making it extremely inhospitable to people. This was one of the reasons the House of Wisdom, a research facility belonging to the Holy Empire of Ionia was located there.
Rumors that such a facility existed on Mt. Plegate had circulated for some time without any real evidence. However, Aaron Barcai's journey to the mountain helped to confirm such suspicions. The mountain was guarded by the Grubs, the Mountain Roots' espionage agency.
Aaron and a small group of Vermilion Axe soldiers were able to fight their way through, with heavy casualties. As the Company pursued Aaron, they would discover remnants of the clashes on their way to the House of Wisdom.
