The Martylion Wastes (マルティリオン平野, Marutirion Heiya), known in the past as West Tourmarie (トルマリー西部, Torumarī Seibu) are a location in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki.
Information
Located to the east of Martylion, these wastes once formed part of Tourmarie. However, 20 years ago, the flames that consumed Martylion spread to the surrounding area, turning the lush green land into such a dismal sight. Since that time, nothing would grow in the area. Some even suggested that it was the remorse of those who were burned to death that lingered and did not allow new life to sprout.
Syggni Albreck's grave marker was here, placed by Tserendrum following her death in HIY 297 and three years later she would meet the hero here, joining his Company following a duel. In HIY 200, the Yuga Chikura resided in West Tourmarie and in HIY 100 Rodric attempted to introduce the Company to Yowinn there, to no avail.
The fearsome Gigas Buffalo would emerge here in HIY 100 following the purging of the Teras Pharma through time through the use of the Era Trees. This Gigas Buffalo blocked access to a chest containing the incredibly powerful Star King Sword.
