Lukie Ende Towayo (ルキエ・エンデ・トワヨ, Rukie Ende Towayo Lequier Ende Towayo) is a location in Suikoden. It is the tree that the Village of the Elves in the Toran region was constructed on.

Known more colloquially as the "big elf tree", Lukie Ende Towayo was left behind by the Six Wise Men of the forest and as such, the tree was considered sacred to the elves that lived atop it.

Noise from the tree bears a resemblance to the ancient language of the elves, but the exact meaning of this is unclear. The tree sheds its leaves every 70 years, forcing the elves to leave their homes until they grow back.

Trivia

  • Also translated as "Lukiae Ende Towayo". They're both pretty much the same.
  • Most sites, all copied from the same single mid-90's source, state that Lukie Ende Towayo sheds its leaves every 60 years. The Genso Suikoden I & II Official World Guide states that it happens every 70 years.
