Jude (ジュド, Judo) is a character in Suikoden II and Genso Suikogaiden Vol.1. Jude is a sculptor who worked for New Leaf Academy and the New State Army.

History

Jude is a sculptor who worked for the New Leaf Academy. Jude held a deep knowledge of blacksmithery and worked as the blacksmith instructor at New Leaf Academy in Greenhill City.

When the Highland Army attacked Greenhill City, Jude worked diligently to help the protect the city. He would use his smithing skills to forge spears for Nash Latkje who was helping the defenses. When the city was about to fall, he would help Mayor Teresa escape by disguising himself as her bodyguard, Shin, to confuse pursuing Highland soldiers.

Following Greenhill's occupation, Jude would resuming his teaching position. However, his true passion was sculpting but with no opportunity to display his works, Jude had never had any works officially published. During the Dunan Unification War, Jude came up with a great idea for a piece but found he was out of clay.

When the hero brought him some clay from his hometown Forest Village, Jude was so grateful he joined the New State Army in thanks. Jude sculpted a Guardian Deity in the New State Army's headquarters, as well as a statue of the person who got the most final blows in battle.

Following the war, Jude looked for new inspiration, following his completion of the Guardian Deity. His work on the Guardian Deity, his first displayed piece, had ignited his motivation to continue creating new pieces.
