Hioni Village (ヒオニ村, Hioni Mura) is a location in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. It is a small village known for a standoff between the Holy Empire of Ionia and the hero Heidrake.

Information

Hioni Village was a small village located upon Mt. Hioni. Originally, the village was destroyed by the Ionian Army in HIY 200 due to their belief that prohibited documents were being kept in the village. Heidrake would be killed attempting to protect the village.

In HIY 300, the hero would use the Era Tree to travel to Hioni Village in HIY 200, right before its destruction. Heidrake would team with the hero, Luseri, and others to repel the Ionian attack, forcing them to accept an alternate arrangement where the troops instead searched the village for forbidden texts before departing.

This allowed the village to survive into HIY 300, allowing Luseri to experience the home of her ancestors she thought forever lost. However, the village was damaged extensively by the Vermilion Axe as they made their way to the Glacial Cave, as part of their plan to lure and ambush Ionian contingents with their Teras Pharma.
