The Great Wall of Achlites (アクリテス長城, Akuritesu Chōjō) is a location in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. It is a large fortification that marks the end of the eastern Apiro Desert.
Information
The Great Wall of Achlites was considered the last line of defense for the Holy Empire of Ionia. Beyond it lay inner Ionia, under the direct control of the Yggdrasilian Throne, including the Holy City of Thaksis. Archers and magicians would fight from the wall's battlements.
The Great Wall stretched all the way from the mountains north of the Apiro Desert to the eastern ocean. Just a short distance beyond the wall's gates was the town of Achlites itself.
In HIY 300, the Vermilion Axe would march on the [[Great Wall of Achlites]. There, they met the Ionian 2nd Branch and the Company in battle and were eventually forced to retreat after Aaron Barcai's forces failed to take to the field.
