History

So, I started cold-proofing human armor and ended up with a reputation for it.

—  Dagzuma

Dagzuma was an armorer who served at Tios Fortress during the HIY 200 Teras Pharma conflict. She had innovated thermal armor for scalehorde but as scalehorde did not wear full armor to preserve their mobility and all refused to travel to cold regions, she was forced to adapt the armor for humans instead.

She would meet the Company at her workshop on the Melisma Prairie, having been told of their arrival by her fellow scalehorde, Badamhatan. Though frustrated at being known solely for her thermal work, she agreed to teach her armor crafting skills to the Company's armorer but only after they retrieved a key component she needed, a sample of cryolite from the Glacial Cave.

Later, Dagzuma would find notes from the ring maker Neisa in her cabin. Neisa had been the previous occupant and the notes were written following the Company's travel to the Melisma Prairie of HIY 100. Confused, Dagzuma would pass them to the Company who would, in turn, turn them over to their ring maker.

Following the end of the war, Dagzuma would take on scalehorde apprentices and trained them in crafting human armor. Gonbosren would be her apprentice's apprentice's apprentice. In a branch of the Infinity where the chains of causality were completely broken, however, she ended up joining Warrg's western caravan. No longer tinkering with armor, she creates various tools for humans instead.
