History

When the centennial monsters attacked... Sorab said he didn't want to...

—  Beltha

A martialist commoner from Martylion, Beltha had joined the forces gathered at Tios Fortress to fight the Teras Pharma during the HIY 200 Teras Pharma conflict.

Training since she was young for the inevitable battle, Beltha he would later express regret at not learning to wield a sword or spear after finding physical contact with the beasts unsettling. Still, despite her small physique, she was an excellent physical combatant.

Beltha would also encourage her cousin, Sorab, to fight, telling him it was the duty of anyone who could fight to do so. She eventually convinced him though the conflict itself ended up deeply traumatizing her cousin. Feeling guilty, she would attempt to help him recuperate by accompanying him on a journey, hoping to have him meet fellow jongleurs.

Eventually, with the help of the hero and Meamei, Sorab was able to come out of his despondency. After this, she would teach her signature skills to the martialists of the Company, passing them through the centuries as a Starbearer. She was slightly embarrassed by Boldon calling her a "young master" and also put off by Jagwan's flippant and unintentional rudeness.

After Sorab's recovery Beltha set out to retrain her body, having several run-ins with the Ionian Army on the way. In a branch of the Infinity where the chains of causality were broken, she would join Warrg's westward migration party, active in running reconnaissance as a scout.
