Andarc Bergman (アンダルク・ベルグマン, Andaruku Beruguman) is a major character from Suikoden Tactics. Andarc is a stiff, uptight man who protects Kyril on his travels through the Island Nations and Kooluk.
Information
Andarc was a former member of the Imperial Academy who traveled with Walter in order to investigate Rune Cannons. Andarc held a stiff, inflexible, no-nonsense sort of attitude that contrasted sharply with that of Seneca. Seneca would often tease him over this, but Andarc would always rise to the bait. He also kept a diary of events which he wrote in daily with much gravitas.
He was a friend of Walter and had travelled with him to the Island Nations where they would end up fighting the pirate Steele. In that fight, in order to protect Walter's son, Kyril, Andarc was forced to kill Walter after he was transformed into a fishman by the Evil Eye. Andarc would feel great guilt for this and vowed to protect Kyril for the rest of his life to make up for his sin.
Since then, Andarc accompanied Kyril on his own investigations into Rune Cannons and help him in his journey to destroy the Evil Eye and overthrow Iskas' plans.
