Agnes (アグネス, Agunesu) is a supporting character in Suikoden IV. Agnes is the tactician student of Elenor Silverberg.
History

Agnes was a young girl striving to become a strategist, studying under Elenor Silverberg while also taking care of her on Hermitage Island. She was intelligent and usually very calm in demeanor, although Tanya, who also wished to learn from Elenor, brought out her more combative feelings frequently.
She idolized Elenor and as such, readily followed her directions. She would drug the party who had come to visit Elenor at Hermitage Island before helping to revive them at Elenor's say-so. Agnes would readily join the Allied Forces when Elenor agreed to aid the group. As Elenor's aide, she would try and reproach her mentor for her frequent drinking but, knowing the depths of Elenor's pain, was also lenient enough to keep her stocks full.
Although young, Agnes had some measure of ability as a strategist and would mostly help in assigning troops during the Island Liberation War. She was not able to read the weather like Elenor could, but hoped to learn the skill from her one day. She took the role of battlefield strategist during the final battle of the war, as Elenor was leading a mission at El-Eal Fortress itself. The Allied victory in the face of the 1st Kooluk Fleet, led by Troy, was a testament to her ability.
Following the war, she would continue to study strategy, studying abroad in the Scarlet Moon Empire. She would also ensure Elenor's home on Hermitage Island was well stocked with liquor, in anticipation of the missing strategist's return.
