Hai Yo was a cheerful, masterful chef who was a member of the [[Black Dragon Group]]. Hearing about [[Jinkai]]'s plans for domination using the [[Moon Bird Recipe]], he was entrusted with the recipe by his lover, [[Shun Min]], at the cost of her life and fled with the group on his heels.

He would appear suddenly at the [[New State Army Headquarters]] during the [[Dunan Unification War]], offering to open a restaurant at the castle for the [[New State Army]]. He would come to be challenged in a series of cook-off which, though innocuous as first, increased with intensity and danger as the Black Dragon Group located him and sent their agents to recover the Moon Bird Recipe.

Finally, Hai Yo defeated Jinkai in a final cook-off and tore up the recipe, stating that recipes alone were not the key to truly great cuisine. He would continue to serve the New State Army for the rest of the war before returning to [[Black Dragon Island]] to put flowers on Shun Min's grave.

==Trivia==
* Hai Yo has two endings, depending on whether or not the player completes the cook-off minigame. If you do not defeat [[Jinkai]], Hai Yo will flee at the end of the game, continuing his life on the run from the [[Black Dragon Group]].
* The order of Hai Yo's opponents is: [[Yu Kum]], [[Goetsu]], [[Shiki]], [[Ryuki]], [[Bashok]], [[Ryuko]], [[Antonio]], [[Gyokuran]], [[Retso]] (forced loss), [[Lester]], [[Retso]], and [[Jinkai]]. Of these, Yu Kum and Goetsu are traveling chefs with no affiliation to the Black Dragon Group. Antonio and Lester make cameos in order to test/help their friend. Everyone else is of the Group.

Percival is one of the renowned Six Mighty Knights, the most skilled of the [[Zexen Knights]]. His talent at handling horses and his speed on horseback has earned him the nickname of the "Swordsman of Gale".

Raised in [[Iksay Village]], Percival is still known as "Percy" to its residents. He is one of very few knights to have come from a commoner background. He tends to have a flexible view on things and can offer up unique ideas and insights easily. He joined the Knights as a common soldier but became one of the Six Mighty Knights at the behest of Knight Commander [[Galahad]], who had observed Percival's skills on the field of battle. After being one of the mighty knights, he became a rival of [[Borus Redrum]] but eventually the two forged a bond as comrades.

Borus is one of the Six Mighty Knights, the most renowned of the [[Zexen Knights]]. He was raised by proud parents in a prominent [[Zexen Federation|Zexen]] family that has produced many fine Zexen Knights but seems to become angry whenever this is brought up. As such, he had apprenticed in the knights from an early age. He is said to be the best swordsman out of the entire Zexen Knights but is also said to lack composure. His temperament has led to him being known as the "Swordsman of Rage." Nevertheless, he is extremely loyal.

He is friends with [[Percival Fraulein]]. Though the two graduated at the same time, they were initially assigned to different companies and so did not have much contact. It is only after they both became two of the Six Mighty Knights that they got to know each other. They were initially rivals but eventually forged a bond as comrades.

During the Zexen attack on the [[Karaya Village]] at the outset of the [[War of the Champions]], Borus slew a number of women and children. The massacre cast a dark shadow across his mind. Of course, Borus did not fight with the intention of slaughtering innocents but even he could not deny that he had been caught up in his anger, bringing out his brutality. Since then, he struggled to forgive himself, even for a moment. His pride as a knight also got in the way of his acceptance of what had happened.

Borus has harboured strong feelings towards Chris for quite some time. This has led him to become easily flustered and enraged should he be mocked for it. As the knights made their way through the [[Ceremonial Site]] for the final battle with [[Luc]], he requested to be expelled from the Zexen Knights. He was aware that his guilt would not be removed by expulsion but was unwilling to let the incident lie. [[Chris Lightfellow]] refused and requested that they continue to fight together. Moved, Borus would swear allegiance to Chris once again. By acknowledging his callowness, Borus had finally begun to mature as a knight.

Borus' personality clashed somewhat with the more laid-back members of Budehuc Castle. The castle staff did not like him, especially [[Juan]]. Borus however paid little attention to them and followed Chris everywhere she went. Suspicious of just about everyone, Borus
immediately let Chris know that [[Kathy]] was showing an interest in her horse.

Chris Lightfellow is the leader of the [[Zexen Knights]] and is often called the "Silver Maiden" and the "White Hero", both for her beautiful appearance and her terrifying skill with a blade. Although she can be overly serious, she has a gentle personality overall and is greatly trusted and respected both by her subordinates and the people of [[Zexen Federation|Zexen]].

During a fierce battle against the [[Grassland]] clans, before the [[War of the Champions]], the Zexen Knight commander [[Galahad]] was killed. It was Chris who rose up to rally the knights and win the battle. This impressive showing led to her being appointed deputy leader of the Zexen Knights. Although dedicated to her job and willing to shoulder the heavy responsibility it brought, the plots of the [[Zexen Council]] to provoke fighting in [[Grassland]] combined with the invasion from the [[Holy Kingdom of Harmonia]] began to take its toll.

Becoming disillusioned, Chris would find out from one [[Nash Latkje|Nash Clovis]] that her father, [[Wyatt Lightfellow|Wyatt]] was still alive. She would leave on a journey to follow the trail of her father, defending the [[Chisha Village]] and eventually arriving at the [[Alma Kinan Village]]. There, she learned from [[Yun]] that the [[True Water Rune]], the [[27 True Runes|True Rune]] her father bore, was sealed. Learning that her father fought alongside the [[Flame Champion]] in times past renewed Chris' resolve to fight to protect the people, of both Grassland and Zexen. Once the Harmonian invasion began in earnest, Chris fought tirelessly as a member of the [[Fire Bringer]]. After a battle over the True Water Rune, Chris was reunited with her father one last time. Following his dying wish, Chris would inherit the True Water Rune and fight on in his name. As the war intesified, [[Luc]] would temporarily managed to take the True Water Rune but fighting alongside her allies at the [[Ceremonial Site]], Chris was able to reclaim her rune and helped to defeat Luc and end the war for good.

Although the peace won extended far beyond the borders of Zexen relations with the Grassland clans and Harmonia did not improve easily. Still, committed to peace and vowing to protect the people, Chris would go to receive further fame as Captain of the Zexen Knights.

Although he aims to be the fastest person in the world and could outrun most any person as it is, some say he is only truly fast when running away from danger. After being freed by [[Sylvina]], Stallion used his incredible speed to save Sylvina and himself from the [[Burning Mirror]]. During the [[Gate Rune War]], he had met [[Lepant]] while in the middle of a journey to learn about mechanical devices and became his guest after Lepant recognised his talents.

He would join the [[Toran Liberation Army]] along with Lepant. At [[Toran Castle]], he spent his time working around [[Kamandol]]'s laboratory, with the two sometimes trading knowledge with one another. During the war, he would use his creations to fight the [[Imperial Army]] as part of the [[Tricksters]] unit.

Following the war, he left on a journey to gain further mechanical knowledge. Around the same time, in order to shake off his neice, [[Meg]], who had been pestering Juppo to teach her, he left her his creation, the barrel robot [[Gadget]].

Juppo was an inventor of various machines, bearer of the [[Gadget Rune]] and a self-proclaimed [[trickster]], always dressed in bizarre clothing. Already able to create some mechanical device, he travelled to learn more. During the [[Gate Rune War]], he had met [[Lepant]] while in the middle of a journey to learn about mechanical devices and became his guest after Lepant recognised his talents.

He would join the [[Toran Liberation Army]] along with Lepant. At [[Toran Castle]], he spent his time working around [[Kamandol]]'s laboratory, with the two sometimes trading knowledge with one another. During the war, he would use his creations to fight the [[Imperial Army]] as part of the [[Tricksters]] unit.

Following the war, he left on a journey to gain further mechanical knowledge. Around the same time, in order to shake off his neice, [[Meg]], who had been pestering Juppo to teach her, he left her his creation, the barrel robot [[Gadget]].

Juppo will be in Lepant's basement, simply speaking to him will cause him to join.

==Biography==
Richard is a promising young soldier in the [[Lindwurm Mercenary Brigade]]. As part of [[Wilhelm]]'s unit, he serves as an assault captain, leading the charge. His mild-mannered appearance hides his true skill as a warrior. He was famed as the legendary "Blademaster" and fought with great ferocity on the field of battle. Ever since childhood, Richard was forced into learning swordsmanship by his father. One day, [[Mueller]] noticed how abusive Richard's father was, and killed him - Richard has been following him ever since.

Mueller was Richard's idol, and did whatever he told him to do. Mueller told him to enter the [[Sacred Games]] (as a joke), and he did. He was apparently drugged, the cause being a piece of candy a little girl had given him prior to the fight. Doctor [[Murad]] detected this and disqualified his opponent. Mueller also told Richard to train at a waterfall, and he went right along and did just that. Richard ran into the [[Hero (Suikoden V)|Prince]] at the [[Waterfall Basin]], and upon Mueller's word, Richard was brought to [[Ceras Lake]] immediately.

Following the [[Sun Rune War]], Richard's fame had grown to the point where his fellow mercenaries suggested he create his own unit but he would turn down the opportunity in order to continue serving under Mueller.

* Richard is one of the few characters, along with [[Zegai]], [[Belcoot]] and [[Shoon]], who will offer to duel [[Childerich]] in place of the Prince.

Lulu was the son of [[Luce]] and the close friend of [[Hugo (Suikoden III)|Hugo]], A bright, lively child filled with curiosity, he was well-liked by everyone. His older brothers had all previously died in battle with the [[Zexen Federation]], prompting Lulu's desire to become a full-fledged warrior as soon as possible.

Before the outbreak of the [[War of the Champions]], he accompanied Hugo, [[Sgt. Joe]] and [[Fubar]] to [[Vinay del Zexay]] as part of a peace delegation. However, when returning home, Lulu realised that the [[Zexen Knights]] had attacked the [[Karaya Village]]. Running on ahead, Lulu would come across [[Chris Lightfellow]] near the ruins of his home and, convinced that his mother had been killed, attacked. Chris would quickly, strike out before Lulu could land his attack, killing him instantly.

Hugo is the only son of [[Lucia]], chief of the [[Karaya Clan]]. He is said to have inherited the martial prowess of his mother and was one of the best horse riders in the [[Karaya Village]]. He was born shortly after the conclusion of the [[Dunan Unification War]]. He has been friends with his [[griffin]], [[Fubar]], since he was four years old and was tutored in fighting by [[Sgt. Joe]].

Just prior to the outbreak of the [[War of the Champions]], Hugo was a sent to [[Vinay del Zexay]] as a peace envoy perceeding talks between the [[Six Clans]] and the [[Zexen Federation]]. Shortly after this, war broke out and Hugo rushed back to Karaya only to find it ablaze, attacked by the [[Zexen Knights]]. There, his best friend [[Lulu]] was killed by [[Chris Lightfellow]]. Following this, he began to track down the legendary [[Flame Champion]] before rejoining Lucia and the survivors of the Karaya at the [[Great Hollow]]. Tracking the trail of the Flame Champion to [[Budehuc Castle]] and [[Chisha Village]], Hugo began to desire to become stronger, in order to protect what was important to him.

Finally, after reaching the [[Flame Champion's Hideaway]], Hugo would inherit the [[True Fire Rune]], the rune of the Flame Champion. Although he managed to thwart the attempts of [[Luc]] to capture the rune, [[Holy Kingdom of Harmonia|Harmonian]] forces would soon start searching for the rune, beginning a massive invasion of the [[Grassland]]. Unable to repel the Harmonian forces, both Grassland and Zexen forces began to fall back under Hugo was able to unite the disparate forces under the banner of the [[Fire Bringer]] as successor to the Flame Champion. Based at Budehuc Castle, this new Fire Bringer would successfully stave off Harmonian invasion.

The true threat, however, was Luc, who managed to take not only Hugo's True Fire Rune but the [[27 True Runes|True Runes]] of both [[Geddoe]] and Chris Lightfellow as well. [[Sasarai]] was able to inform Hugo of Luc's plan to destroy his own [[True Wind Rune]], which would potentially annihilate the Grassland and gave his location at the [[Ceremonial Site]]. This site would be the location of a final, all-out battle where Luc would be defeated and Hugo would reclaim his rune.

Following the war, Hugo, who had grown from a boy into a true leader through his many trials and experiences, would succeed Lucia as leader of the Karaya Clan. While working to rebuild the Karaya Village, he would strive to form a bond of friendship between the Karaya, Zexen and Harmonia.

* Hugo is the only one of the three possible Flame Champions to be able to use all three of the True Runes available among them. ==Biography==
Lymsleia was the heir to the throne of [[Queendom of Falena|Falena]] by virtue of being the only daughter of her parents, [[Ferid]] and Queen [[Arshtat Falenas]]. She is generally innocent and cheerful but due to her top-class education received since she was an infant, she speaks and holds herself in a very refined matter, often at odds with her more childish actions.

When she was younger, she held disdain towards her older brother, the [[Hero (Suikoden V)|Prince of Falena]], due to his ineligibility for the throne. However, as she grew, Lymsleia realised the love that he held for her and overall became a much kinder person. Since infancy, she was protected by the [[Queen's Knights|Queen's Knight]], [[Miakis]] and the two eventually became closer than sisters.

Even though she was still only a child, the [[Sacred Games]] held in her honour at the behest of the [[Barows Faction]] in [[Solar calendar|SY]] 449. Ultimately, the [[Godwin Faction]], however, would triumph with [[Gizel Godwin]] expected to marry the Princess. Several weeks later, at the official engagement party in [[Sol-Falena]], the Godwin's enacted their [[Queen's Assassination|planned coup]] of the [[Sun Palace]], resulting in the deaths of Arshtat and Ferid and the fleeing of the Prince, [[Sialeeds]], [[Lyon]] and [[Georg Prime]] from the region. With the help of Miakis, Lymsleia too almost escaped only to be stopped by Queen's Knights [[Alenia]] and [[Zahhak]], who had sided with the Godwins.

Held in the Sun Palace, Lymsleia had little practical power, even following her coronation as Queen of Falena. Still, during the [[Sun Rune War]], despite her imprisonment, she showed glimpses of maturity and suitability as the Queen of Falena. Following her brother's capture of [[Doraat]], however, Lymsleia came up with a plan to end the war. By demanding to lead the Falenan Army into battle as its Queen, Lymsleia planned for the Prince to break through and rescue her, ending the war. The plan almost succeeded with the Prince breaking through the Godwin Army's ranks and with Zahhak and Alenia occupied in battles of their own. However, at the moment of their reunion, Sialeeds betrayed the Prince, taking Lymsleia with her from the field of battle and back to Sol-Falena.

Back in Sol-Falena, Lymsleia could do little but resent Sialeeds for what she had done, remaining mostly confined to her chambers for much of the remainder of the war. Eventually, Sol-Falena was captured and the war was essentially over, save for the fleeing of [[Marscal Godwin]] to the [[Ashtwal Mountains]], complete with the [[Sun Rune]]. Although angry that the Sun Rune had caused so much harm to Falena, Lymsleia also recognised that only the Queendom could keep it safe and so asked her brother to recapture it.

Following his success in doing so, the war was finally over and peace was restored to Falena. Lymsleia declared the results of the Sacred Games, her marriage and her coronation as Queen invalid before embarking on a series of reforms prior to her official coronation as Queen, including the abandoning of the Senate and the emergence of a representative Parliament. She also removed the old tradition regarding the Commander of the Queen's Knights. Instead of her husband, seeing as she had no wish to have one at this time, she appointed her brother, the Prince, as the new Commander.

==Biography==
Wasil served as the ''de facto'' leader of [[Lelcar]]'s central islet as the town became increasingly divided along political lines in the run-up to the [[Sun Rune War]]. Wasil's diplomatic acumen helped keep the peace between the town's eastern and western islet who were often at odds with each other. Neither a [[Barows Faction|Barows]] nor a [[Godwin Faction|Godwin]] supporter, Wasil could more accurately be described as a supporter of the monarchy itself, much like Lord [[Rodney Rondot Rovere|Rovere]]. In fact, following the [[Lordlake Uprising]] in [[Solar calendar|SY]] 447, Wasil signed a petition to save him from execution to no avail.

Still, he continued to support the monarchy as best he could as well helping to mediate between [[Orok]] and [[Volga]] with their opposing political views. As the Sun Rune War began to spread throughout [[Queendom of Falena|Falena]], Wasil send a request to the [[Imperial City Recapture Army]] to help Lelcar out of its plight. With Lord [[De Beers]] having fled the town, the tensions in Lelcar had stretched to breaking point between supporters of various factions. His enthusiasm upon meeting the [[Hero (Suikoden V)|Prince]] and [[Kyle]], however, practically blew their cover.

Still, Wasil's work helped place the Recapture Army in a position to earn the trust of the citizens of Lelcar, first by rescuing several kidnapped 'draftees' to the Godwin Army and then by repelling [[Zahhak]]'s forces which prepared to occupy the town. Swift action in dealing with the fire started by Zahhak to aid his retreat also earned the goodwill of the people. Following this, Wasil managed to forge an uneasy peace between Volga and Orok, the three of them agreeing to join the Prince's forces.

There, he developed a crush on the [[Island Nations Federation]] officer, [[Bernadette Egan]], noting that he had always had a 'thing' for Island Nations women. In the past, Wasil's father had business dealings with the trader, [[Sairoh]], who would also join the Prince's forces. Although not a warrior in any real sense of the word, Wasil was fiercely protective of Lelcar and so, during campaigns to protect the town from Godwin advances later during the war, Wasil served bravely as the general of an archery unit of his own, along with Wasil and Orok.

Following the conclusion of the Sun Rune War, Wasil went on to represent Lelcar in the [[New Parliament]], his mediating talents helping to foster peace and promote new partnerships within Falena.

Pahn is a skilled martial artist who swore allegiance to [[Geil Rugner]] during the [[War of Succession]]. Pahn faced General [[Teo McDohl]] in a duel during the war and lost; after this, Pahn defected to Teo McDohl's forces. Pahn came to live in the McDohl household and even helped in the upbringing of Teo's [[Hero (Suikoden)|young son]]. Pahn continued to protect and help Tir during Tir's missions for the [[Imperial Guard]].

However, when [[Ted]] arrived at the McDohl household badly injured, Pahn deduced that the Imperial Guard who had wanted Ted and left to notify the Imperial Guard of his whereabouts.

During the [[Gate Rune War]], Pahn initally served the [[Scarlet Moon Empire]], but he eventually reunited with Tir in [[Kouan]]. Though commanded by Kraze Miles to capture Tir, Pahn declined, as he wished to join the [[Toran Liberation Army]]. Sasarai is always dressed in a [[Holy Kingdom of Harmonia|Harmonian]] bishop’s uniform, but his uniform's appearance differs with each game. In [[Suikoden II]], he wears a blue robe with white trim and the Harmonian insignia on the front and a large bishop’s hat with the same insignia. In [[Genso Suikogaiden Volume 2]], his hat is smaller and he also has a short, dark blue cape draped about his shoulders. In [[Suikoden III]], he does not wear a hat, and his robes have been replaced with a blue shirt with white trim with the Harmonian insignia on the front and white pants.

In Genso Suikogaiden Volume 2, he can be seen with a ring on the middle finger of his right hand. In his Suikoden III artwork, he is shown to have one on the left hand as well. His weapon is a ring called “Guardian Eye,” so these may be to enhance his magic.

Although Sasarai is a skilled general, he is also a very kind person who dislikes violence, and he has a strong sense of justice. His subordinates place a lot of trust in him. In turn, Sasarai is loyal to [[Hikusaak]] and his convictions.

Sasarai is also intelligent and capable of great cunning. An example of this is when, in the aftermath of the [[Dunan Unification War]], he worked behind the scenes to help [[Lena Suphina]] save [[Nash Latkje]]'s sister, [[Julie Latkje|Julie]]. He knows when to question others as well, such as when he suspected [[Luc]] (disguised as the Masked Bishop) had ulterior motives for wishing to serve Hikusaak.

Although Sasarai appears to be formal and fastidious, this is due to his attendants helping him out. He’s actually very nonchalant.

Later, Luc confronted him directly on the battlefield, devastating Sasarai’s troops with a powerful spell. Although Sasarai demanded to know what connection Luc had to him, Luc refused to answer Sasarai’s question. Sasarai managed to escape Luc’s attack using his [[True Earth Rune]] and did not reappear during the war.

Following the war, back in [[Crystal Valley]], Sasarai discreetly assisted [[Lena Suphina]] in saving [[Nash Latkje]]’s younger sister, [[Julie Latkje|Julie]], from [[Zaj Quiroz]]. This would not only help keep Harmonia politically stable; Zaj's schemes would have culminated in an attempt to bring down the government, it would also cause Nash to owe a favor that he would have to pay back himself.

Around the same time, he appointed [[Luc]] as a bishop under [[Hikusaak]]'s orders, although he was unaware at the time that the Masked Bishop was Luc. He still had his suspicions, however, noting the specific pledge that the Masked Bishop made.

After Harmonian forces annihilated the [[Safir Clan]], Sasarai led the army into the [[Chisha Village]], where he met [[Hugo (Suikoden III)|Hugo]], who managed to stall the the Harmonians by claiming to be the Flame Champion. The invasion was temporarily repelled when [[Karaya Clan|Karayan]] reinforcements came. Similarly, an attack on the [[Brass Castle]] on the frontier of the [[Zexen Federation]] was thwarted by various members of the [[Fire Bringer]].

When Sasarai was admitted into the ranks of the Fire Bringer, he supported the Flame Champion to his utmost and met many different kinds of people. However, the presence of ninjas [[Watari]] and [[Ayame]] astounded him, as they used Kage techniques familiar to him, although he was sure the group had been disbanded with the fall of Highland.

After losing his [[True Earth Rune]] to Luc, Sasarai would look to ally with the [[Fire Bringer]] in order to prevent Luc’s destructive plan from coming to fruition. Although upset violently by the revelations of his creation, Sasarai held fast to his beliefs in order to avoid the catastrophic destruction Luc would have caused.

At the [[Ceremonial Site]], Sasarai confronted Luc for a final duel, which he lost. However, Luc spared Sasarai's life, telling him that while he hated Sasarai more than anyone else, he could also empathize with him.

Following Luc’s defeat and with his True Earth Rune regained, Sasarai would return to service as a bishop within Harmonia but continued to be plagued by existentialist doubts regarding his being.

==Weapon==
Sasarai’s weapon is called a “Guardian Eye,” which may have something to do with the eye-shaped monsters called “Guardians” that patrol the “Grey World” that Luc sees in his vision. Its name stays the same regardless of how much it is sharpened. Luc has the exact same weapon, so it’s possible that such rings are routinely given to bishops.

Although he harboured some resentment towards the Flame Champion, the realisation that Luc was planning to obtain the [[27 True Runes|True Runes]], prompting a massive Harmonian invasion, solidified Geddoe's will to protect the [[Grassland]] as a member of the Fire Bringer. During the War of the Champions, he would temporarily lose his True Lightning Rune to Luc, but knowing the consequences of what would happen if Luc's plans came to fruition, he struggled against his own mortality, reclaimed his rune and helped to bring peace to the Grassland.

In particular, she feels the closest to Geddoe within the SFDF, helping to support him and deflecting scrutiny during the [[War of the Champions]]. She also took [[Aila]] under her wing while she accompanied the group as it was nice to finally have another female to talk to, despite the age difference. She also has a fierce rivalry with [[Elaine]], from the 14th unit of the SFDF, for some undisclosed reason.

At the Castle, Queen generally stayed away from the louder people, but got in a spat with [[Mel]], apparently "teaching her a lesson" of some kind, though Mel insisted it was [[Branky]] who had instigated the fight.

Lucia is the chieftain of the [[Karaya Clan]] who dwell in the [[Grassland]]. Her father, [[Kianu]], was poisoned in a plot by [[Alec Wisemail]], mayor of [[Greenhill City|Greenhill]], some years before. In order to fulfil her revenge, she and her elite soldiers fought with the [[Highland Army]] during the [[Dunan Unification War]].

Fighting alongside [[Highland Kingdom|Highland]], Lucia would confront the [[New State Army]] several times. Eventually, she would be defeated by the New State Army in a battle at [[L'Renouille Palace]] and would finally give way when [[Teresa Wisemail]]'s sincerity convinced her that the wrongs committed against her clan could be righted.

Although she had hated Teresa due to her father's doings and had tried to assassinate [[Hero (Suikoden II)|the leader]] of the New State Army, Lucia was open to explanation and fair dealings. Once Teresa became mayor of Greenhill, the Karaya Clan quickly received an offer of reconciliation.

Following the Dunan Unification War, Lucia continued to lead the Karaya, becoming a strong leader for the clan itself and also within the [[Six Clans]]. She would battle against the [[Zexen Federation]] many times over the years. Shortly after the war, she would give birth to her son, [[Hugo (Suikoden III)|Hugo]], whose father's name would go unrevealed. Lucia would raise him with pride, becoming as fierce as a mother as she was as a warrior. She would also become known for her diplomatic prowess as well as her martial talents.

When the [[War of the Champions]] broke out between the Six Clans and Zexen, the [[Karaya Village]] was razed by the [[Zexen Knights]] as part of their ploy to escape an ambush. Following this loss, the Karaya survivors would regroup under Lucia at the [[Great Hollow]] where she clashed with the Silver Maiden [[Chris Lightfellow]]. From there, she would strike with the [[Lizard Clan]] at the Zexen village of [[Iksay Village|Iksay]] for a Grassland victory before forming part of the Grassland's attempted defense of the [[Chisha Village]] once the [[Holy Kingdom of Harmonia]] began their invasion of the region. This battle would also patch her adversarial relationship with Chris, who also fought for Grassland at this time.

She would encounter the [[Fire Bringer]] at the [[Alma Kinan Village]] and would send the group on a wild goose chase looking for an entrance to its all-male counterpart before agreeing to join. [[Kidd]] often fell for her lies, believing her bizarre origin story about being born from a rock 50 years ago, travelling to a country or location called Tenjik for an old magic book, and transforming the water imp Rody into a human being after they battled.

While at the castle, Estella would continue her habit of lying, but most people did not take much stock in what she said. She would write letters about [[Reed]]'s hair, or how [[Hallec]] and [[Dupa]] were the same person, and generally horrible and/or dangerous advice on improving magic affinity. The highlight of these were suggestions to bury oneself in sand for Earth power, swim 20 laps in a bathtub for Water, and to be exposed to [[Bright]]'s flame breath for Fire. If there ever was a purpose to any of this, it is not known. It doesn't even appear to be funny to her.

Following the [[War of the Champions]], she would leave on a journey, apparently to find the 109th Star of Destiny.

Find Rody in the plaza of Alma Kinan and he will direct you to chat with Estella, who is resting in the inn. She will send you on a fool's errand to locate the "nearby" [[Gordius Village]]. Her behaviour is bound only by the limits of her curiosity. That is why she trailed Futch in the first place and it is how, even after joining the [[Fire Bringer]] with Futch, her curiosity would lead her to such actions as riding a [[lizard]], bathing in milk and investigating (and continuously riding) [[Budehuc Castle]]'s [[elevator]]. Futch would often have a hard time dealing with Sharon due to her self-centred attitude and finickiness.

During her time with the Fire Bringer, she did not yet have a [[dragon]] but fought in battle nonetheless. She attempted to improve her skills by training with [[Juan]], but could never find him awake. It is possible that Juan pretended he was asleep to avoid training her, as he had previously told her she was too much of a child to train with him. She was also highly curious of [[Estella]], and prodded [[Rody]] with questions about whether or not she was as powerful a wizard as [[Mazus]]. In her spare time, she would ride [[Kathy]]'s horses, to get a feel for what riding was like, to prepare herself for getting her own dragon. That's the reason he opened his own dojo at Budehuc Castle, in the hopes that this wandering fighter would come and challenge him. Although, as Juan's dojo never had customers, he would spend most if not all of his spare time sleeping somewhere.

He did not place much faith in [[Thomas]] as Lord of Budehuc Castle at first, as the several previous attempted lords had bailed on the castle crew. Juan would, however, grow to admire Thomas' efforts and would support him over time. When the [[War of the Champions]] came to Budehuc, Juan would fight as a member of the [[Fire Bringer]]. As a bujutsu instructor, he helped to develop the talents of the many fighters who resided at the castle during the war. He personally tutored such high-profile Fire Bringer members such as the Castle Master [[Thomas]], [[Lilly Pendragon]] and [[Fred Maximillian]].

Following the conflict, Juan would wind up with a heavy increase in disciples as the population of the castle grew. Luckily for him, he delegates their training to [[Emily]], who he hired on as his assistant instructor. Emily is always mad that Juan skips training to take naps.

* Juan can reach S level in his unique skills Heavy Damage and Continual Attack.
* The sleep effect of Juan's Waking Rune can be mitigated with a Yellow Scarf or a Taikyoku Tunic, although this prevents the fury status from occurring as well.
