Two River City is a major city, built on the banks of the [[Lana River]]. The city is comprised of three distinct races, [[Human|humans]], [[Kobold|kobolds]] and [[Winged Horde|wingers]], each of whom make up a third of Two River's three houses of parliament.

In the past, the Winged Horde contingent were discriminated against due to their recent arrival in the city but following the actions of wingers such as [[Chaco]] and [[Sid]] in the [[Dunan Unification War]], they seem to be receiving their due recognition.

'''South Window City''' (サウスウィンドゥ市 ''Sausu Windou Shi'') is a location which appears in [[Suikoden II]]. It is a historical city which lies to the south of [[Lake Dunan]].

==Information==
South Window City is the principle city of [[South Window Principality]]. It is one of the oldest cities in [[Dunan (region)|Dunan]] and was once the capital of the [[Dunan Monarchy]]. As such, it was usually treated with a measure of respect within the [[City-State of Jowston]]. Its main industries are tourism and commerce, with the city crowded year-round by tourists and traders.

The carefully cultivated bonsai have become something of a feature of the city and the plaza outside the city hall is open for the peace and relaxation of its citizens.

During the [[Dunan Unification War]], the city suffered many attacks from the [[Highland Kingdom]] and was occupied for a time. Following the war, however, South Window has followed a path of steady recovery.

==Information==
Tinto City is a renowned mining town that was built against the slope of a steep mountain. Its main industry is in extracting iron ore and other precious metals from the [[Tinto Mines]] and selling them for use in the production of weapons and armour, generating a large profit for the city.

As long as the city has existed, the head of the mining guild has also served as mayor of the city. [[Gustav Pendragon]] served as mayor during the [[Dunan Unification War]] and was Tinto's last before the foundation of the [[Tinto Republic]].

==Information==
The center of the [[City-State of Jowston]], Muse City was also one of the largest cities in all the alliance with a population of 13,000. Prosperous, its stores were always busy and its people vibrant and busy. Although the city has no [[trading post]], its streets are lined with businesses and are crowded with customers daily. Reflecting this, its primary industry was trade and commerce.

To the west of the city lies the gates that lead to [[Jowston Hill]], where important City-State meetings were held. The gate is only opened during special events and ceremonies, such as these meetings.

It is all this that made Muse City the first target of the [[Highland Army]] once the [[Dunan Unification War]] began in earnest. With the murder of Mayor [[Anabelle]] and the occupation of the town by Highland forces, the city suffered extensive damage, not least when [[Luca Blight]] rounded up citizens of the city to sacrifice to the [[Beast Rune]].

After the conflict, Muse attempted to heal the wounds of war, enacting policies focusing on centring its industries around its traditional strengths of trade and commerce and now continues smoothly on the path to recovery.

The '''Matilda Knights''' (マチルダ騎士団, ''Machiruda Kishidan'') are a military order that appears in [[Suikoden II]].

==Information==
The Matilda Knights, based at [[Rockaxe Castle]], is a unique force, proud of its strength and forming part of the elite in the [[City-State of Jowston]].

The knights are split into three divisions; the Red, Blue and White Knights. These orders also represent a pyramidal hierarchy with the White Knights on top and the Red and Blue Knights on the bottom.

During the [[Dunan Unification War]], the head of the knights, [[Gorudo]], refused several times to fight in battles against the [[Highland Army]], ultimately causing many knights to resign and fight with the [[New State Army]]. When Gorudo eventually allied with [[Highland Kingdom|Highland]], the order was fragmented further. Following the war, with the aid of [[Camus]] and [[Miklotov]], however, the Matilda Knights were rebuilt.

The Matilda Knights are comprised of eight different ranks, from squire to knight leader. [[Gorudo]] was the knight leader while [[Camus]] and [[Miklotov]] were both knight captains.

Early in the [[Dunan Unification War]], this headquarters was established by the [[Hero (Suikoden II)|leader]] of the [[New State Army]]. Established at the ruins of [[North Window]], the base was where the New State Army, aided by [[Shu]], began their resistance against the [[Highland Army]], repelling their forces in battle and bolstering the spirit of then-occupied [[South Window Principality]].

The headquarters would continue to grow and expand during the war, as word of its security spread. By the end of the war, it was something of a large town in its own right.

Eventually, [[Sonya Shulen]] left behind a [[Zombie Dragon]] in order to deter bandits and pirates from taking control of the castle. Since then, the castle had been shrouded in mist and had gained a reputation as being an extremely dangerous place to visit.

The castle was visible from the village of [[Kaku]]. In fact, the castle had become so dangerous that it had impacted the fishing there. This was rectified when the dragon was destroyed by the fledgling Liberation Army and became the rebel force's base of operations.

As the Liberation Army grew, the castle was expanded although it always retained its rocky, organic look. Following the war, the castle was mostly abandoned although several people still live there.

She also formed a bond with [[Nash Latkje]]. Although they were from different classes socially, due to their similar age and intensity of the guild, they formed a good rivalry. Nash himself would say that he never managed to beat her but Elza had high regard for his strength.
The elders of the Guild became suspicious of the three, especially as they were apprentices of [[Sauro]], one of the other elder, fearing an imbalance in power within the guild. They appointed Kelly as the new master of the Guild who slowly turned back from his childhood friends. One day, Elza was asked to duel Kelly, which wa smost probably a scheme pulled by some of the elder: Kelly was not able to hold [[Sturm]], the weapon of the guild master which is said to have its own will and to chose its own master, but Elza could handle the weapon with no problem. In the following duel, Kelly chose [[Mond]], representing betrayal, which was loaded with blanks and Elza chose [[Stern]], representing trust in the Guild, killing her childhood friend in the duel. Elza took both weapons and escaped immediately, fearing that the elders would blame her for setting up Mond with blanks. She could escape with no problems as Kelly ordered to leave all gates open, and was from then on hunted by Clive.
